Bodega Furniture - Behind 1155 Foster Street, next to Blue Planet Designs - Interesting looking place!

Provenance - 1155 Foster Street Owned by Edward Killelea, Ann Ward and Dominick Coyne, specializes in antiques, decorative lighting fixtures and Oriental rugs. "Every six to eight weeks we hold estate sales in a small corner of the shop," says co-owner Edward Killelea, who travels to cities such as New Orleans and New York to find rare antiques that have been in families for generations. In his treasure hunts, Killelea has come across Loetz glassware, complete sets of sterling silver and an 18 10 Sheffield silver-plate decanter. (404) 351-1217.

No Mas - Corner of Foster Street & Huff Road (790 Huff Road ) Graphic artist Stephen MacNeil and friend Walter Bilinski opened No Mas, a shop reminiscent of a Mexican marketplace. Specializing in custom handforged furniture and accessories, MacNeil fills the shop with wrought-iron bed frames, tables, chairs and garden gates, terra-cotta pots, fountains made from Cantera stone, and wooden chests, all hand-crafted by artisans in Mexico. MacNeil's background enables him to design one-of-a-kind pieces for his clients. "The artists are fastidious in detail," says MacNeil. "For instance, the metal workers have mastered a patina with several variations in the rust to make a piece look aged." (404) 350-0907. Fax (404)350-0601.

O'Callaghan & Co. - 1157 Foster Street John O'Callaghan has expanded his furniture- restoring business, O'Callaghan & Co., and now also sells continental antiques. O'Callaghan throws into the mix unusual pieces such as old sea chests, antique bicycles, lamp posts and garden swings. (404) 352-2631.

Davis & Fille Ltd. Antique Warehouse 1155 Foster Road - Also opening is Davis & Fille, a French and English antiques shop owned by Sondra Davis and daughter Claire Shaniburger. Retail is a new endeavor for Davis, who just moved back from Europe, where she collected many of the antiques for her new warehouse-style shop. "I was drawn to the area because of the traffic generated by Forsyth Fabrics at the top of the street, as well as the country feeling I get hearing the roosters crow and the train whistle," says Davis. "After landscaping the exterior we came back the next morning to find goats had eaten many of our geraniums, but that just adds to the country charm of the place." (404) 352-5210.
